Skeleton Creek

Breath...just.....breath.....
My book that I ordered off of amazon came today! I was so excited that I couldn't help but scream with joy and delight! The absolutely WONDERFUL book that came in the mail today was called Skeleton Creek by Patrick Carman. I love all of Patrick Carman's books but this one has been way creepier and scarier than any of his other books, in a good way of course. Me, my sister Gretchen, and my brother Isaac started reading it together at lunchtime but I continued reading it after school as if the book might vanish from my hands any second! The really cool thing about this book is that you get to read and watch secret videos online. It is almost like watching a movie, at least in my opinion. Anyway, since the weekend has FINALLY come I will spend most of my time... okay lets be serious... maybe all of my time reading Skeleton Creek. Oh! For those who might be wondering, I do believe Patrick Carman, the author of this book is a christian so don't think that I usually go for those creepy sort of stories. Well I will be going now to go see if my sister has finished catching up with me. She better have because I am dieing to read some more!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Always working!

Busy, busy, busy,

Today I was working with my friend Hannah on our LAST English project. HURRAY!! It wasn't that hard either. We just had to make up a funny advertisement to present in front of the class tomorrow. The advertisement is actually on duct tape! I know... not your normal day-to-day advertisement huh? Well it still should be a lot of fun and hope the rest of the class thinks it is fun too! Besides working on the advertisement, I have just been doing some more school. I am sort of getting into a better rhythm of things but it I am just sooooo ready to be done! Do I hear an amen?

Almost there!

Sooooooooo.......
I am finally seeing the finish line to this long and tiring journey of schoolwork filled with TONS of homework, and homework, and MORE homework. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be almost done!! Winter has also ended and Spring is in full swing! I love spring because everything is starting to bloom and the weather is just perfect, well... that is most of the time. There are also the thoughts of summer and the many adventures that I plan to have! I will not reveal these ambitions quite yet but I will let y'all know as soon as school is done. PLEASE END SCHOOL!!!!

Sorry! (again)

Hello People!

Sadly school has taken over my life. Literally! Anyway.... recently I went to the Confidence Conference at my church and had the best day ever! I got to hang out with my best friends all day while learning new things and listening to the Reilly band play (You rock Reilly!). The speaker at the conference was an amazingly sweet lady named Leslie Koepke (I think that is how you spell her last name?). I got to hear about her childhood and how she became a christian....... It was the best day I have ever had and I hope (like Rebecca) that they will have another conference next or later on this year. Well... I must go and make my lunch. Hope you all have a great day!

Cannot Wait Till Christmas Break!

Hello Everyone!

School has been hectic and crazy as usual but I am hoping beyond hope that Christmas break will come as soon as it can. I was lately in an International Christmas Festival at my church and was in the country of Russia with most of my friends (some of my friends were in Italy right across from our room). I had a blast and enjoyed learning about new cultures and the tastes of different food (especially the Chinese). I can't wait till next year when, hopefully, I will be able to be in it again! For right now.... just pray that I can get through the next few days until Christmas break and live to tell the tale!
Love,

Jen
